2026年製 RS Guitarworks Slab 59 II Translucent Cream Road Killed Light Weight Ash 数多くのリペアをこなし、ビンテージの楽器を 熟知することで卓越したエイジド加工技術をもった少数精鋭の工房、RS Guitarworks。 本機はトラッドスタイルのSlabモデルより、かつてフェンダーが59年中盤に採用したアッシュボディにローズウッド指板を組み合わせたSlab 59 II。 ボディ材には、ライトウェイト・アッシュを贅沢に使用。重量わずか3.05kgという驚異的な軽さを実現し、まるで長年共に歩んできた相棒のように、身体へ吸い付くようなフィット感と絶妙なバランスをもたらす。 メイプルネックには手に馴染む63Cシェイプを採用。指板にはローズウッドを採用。さらに指板ラジアスを10インチに設定することで、伝統的なルックスを保ちながらも、現代的なチョーキングやアグレッシブなプレイにもストレスなく対応する懐の深さを感じさせる。 ハードウェア類も抜かりなく、マシンヘッドにはヴィンテージスタイルのクルーソンタイプを搭載。さらに、アングル加工が施されたサドルを搭載することでオクターブピッチの不安定さを解消。テレキャスターの弱点を克服したその構造は、ハリのあるアタックと豊かなサスティーンを実現。 心臓部には、RS独自のチューニングが施されたFralin Tele Setを搭載。 アッシュボディが持つワイドレンジでキレのある鳴りを余すことなく拾い上げ、指先で描いたニュアンスを一切のロスなくアウトプット。59年スタイル特有の、中域に芯のある力強くファットな響き。そして、RS Guitarworksが誇る至高のエイジング技術が、木の鳴りを極限まで解き放つ。 ヴィンテージトーンの深淵と、現代のギターに求められる実用性。その二つが極めて高い次元で融合した、プレイヤーのイマジネーションを刺激し続ける最高峰のカスタムギター。 |
