1998年製 Gibson Les Paul Standard '98 時代を牽引してきた多くのプレイヤーが憧れる大手有名メーカーで 2大エレキギターブランドのうちのひとつ。 本機は1998年製のレスポール・スタンダード。 メイプルトップに1ピースのマホガニーバックを組み合わせた、まさに王道の構成。シンプルなプレーントップの仕様で、派手さよりも木材そのものの質感となりをストレートに味わうことが出来る一本。 重量は4.64とずっしりとしており、質量からくる厚みとサステインが魅力。 ネックは1ピースマホガニーにローズウッド指板という伝統的なスタイル。マホガニーネックならではの中域に芯のあるトーンと温かみが特徴で、ローズウッドが加わることで倍音が豊かになり滑らかなサウンドに。 マシンヘッドにはグローバー製を搭載。ヴィンテージのクルーソンに比べて堅牢でチューニングの安定性に優れ、激しいプレイや長時間のステージでも安心できる仕様。 ピックアップにはフロントに490R、リアに498Tをマウントした王道のスタイル。490Rは甘く温かいクリーンやブルージーなリードに最適で、ジャズやソウルにもフィットする柔らかさを持つ。対して498Tは高出力でエッジの効いたサウンドを生み、ハードロックやモダンなハイゲインにも対応。幅広いスタイルで使える柔軟さを備えている。 ヒストリック・リイシューが主流になる前の時期の個体は、堅牢で安定した作りと力強い鳴りを持つものが多く、本機もその流れを色濃く反映している。シンプルな外観の裏に、分厚く実戦的なサウンドを秘めた一本。 ※ロッドカバー欠け、裏パネルクラック、ヘッド裏クラックは貫通無し(開き無し)あり 弾き傷や擦り傷、使用に伴う細かな打痕などはあるが、 演奏用に調整されたプレイヤーズコンディション。 |
